• Headcanon A: Noctis’s limp is still a bit painful, but he’s
  learned to live with it, which is why he’s not particularly vocal about it. He
  sees it as more of an inconvenience than an actual problem.
• Headcanon B: Noct changes the story of how he got his limp
  every time he tells it. “I slipped on a banana and slid all the way down the
  audience chamber.” “I tried to ride a garulet and got flung off its back.” “I
  was born with only one knee.”
• Headcanon C: The pain in Noctis’s leg spikes at nighttime. When
  he was younger, the agony would push him into headaches. Regis would cradle Noct
  as he cried, heartbroken that he couldn’t take his son’s pain away. Even when
  he was a teenager, the king would sometimes stroke his son’s hair as he
  whimpered in his sleep. It wasn’t until Noct started his trip with the bros
  that he learned to force his sobs down.
• Headcanon D: Noctis recovered fully and no longer has the
  pain and everything was fine.
