Chocobos Headcanons

I got some thoughts about Chocobos, now just stay with me…

• They can speak, 
• like if you clip there tongues like a raven
• They can say simple words (Yes, no, Hello, Cocobo)
• They have the same brain power as an 8-year-old
• They come in two sizes!
• Standard, and Party
• Party size are typically only 3 feet tall at full height
• Party were bred for the upper elite like lapdogs
• Party are hard to come by in the wild, as they are not as strong as the standard
• Chocobos have their favorite humans
• That’s why some let you touch them and some not
• They will often flock towards people with similar hair color as their feathers
• Black to Noctis, Yellow to Prompto, Etc
• It also depends on what you’re wearing, and scent
• They’re buoyant
• Please don’t float your Chocobo for fun!
• Wet Chocobo scent will be on you forever!
• They love music!
• If you’re lucky you can get a flock to sing the Chocobo Theme song
• Your Chocobo shows love by preening you
• It’s a good thing that Prompto’s hair looks like a Chocobo butt!
• Mama Chocobo’s will often try to nest their owners, and will lash out at those they think will hurt their friends
• They will also put some of their feathers within your hair so others know your their human
• “Silly featherless Chocobo, you can have some of mine. Perfect, but you always are!”
• They love when you call them a Good Boy/Girl or Birb
• They get all prancy and wiggle
• Best Quality: Their wiggles!
• They love to please you!
• OMG, THEY LOVE TO SNUGGLE!
• If you do not snuggle your Chocobo, I will find you!
• Baby Chocobos!
• Choco-Chicks? Baby-Bos?
• They’re tough from the second they’re born!
• A kick from a baby is about as painful as an adult
• They bond with those that perform a dance with them and you’re a Mama now
• They Sing! A LOT!
• No like you don’t even know!
• They loose their middle claw when their adult feathers start coming in
• This is normal! Like losing their egg tooth
• They take on their owner’s persona
• There is no such thing as a bad Chocobo, only bad people
• All enjoy a good joke
• She took your glasses because she loves you, Iggy! She wanted to be friends!
