OOooo!!! First ask! đ Hi!Â
Noctis: Generally, I can picture him as calm, but unwilling to warp or actually fight. Heâd defend against their attacks and plead with them to snap out of it. But in a situation like this, I can picture the S/O not being able to stop themself. Eventually, since they showed no signs of hearing him, the others would step in to take them down. Heâd be unable to actively take a stand against them, and would have to turn away while the others took care of his S/O. Theyâd knock them out with as minimal damage as possible, which dependâs on the S/Oâs training. If theyâre heavily trained, I can picture them being difficult to take down, and drawing out the tension. If theyâre not very well off with weapons, then itâd only take a strike to the back of the head to end it.Â
Heâd stay by their side while they sleep, holding their hand and hoping that whatever this was, wasnât permanent.Â
Prompto: He wouldnât even be willing to lift a finger against them. How could he? Not even to defend. No instead heâd try and just straight out grab them (read: tackle) at the beginning, try and get them to come back to themself with whispered words. And though he doesnât look like it, heâs got a strong grip. The S/O wouldnât really be able to do any damage to him when heâs clinging like that. None physical. So theyâd go for a mental damage. Blaming him for how heâd let this happen to them, along with other venomous words. But in reply heâd whisper sweet memories. One for anything they say to him. Surprisingly, itâd start working, and theyâd come back to themself in his arms.Â
Gladiolus: Gladiolus has no qualms about taking out a threat. And since he knows his S/O could potentially be a very large threat, considering heâd trained them himself, heâd strive to take them out as quickly as possible. Though guilt would eat away at him during the fight, and quietly heâd apologize for every hit he landed. He knew his strength, but also knew their determination. It would take a long time for him to actually manage to take them down. And even then itâs from exhaustion. Once theyâd been subdued and restrained, the other would leave him alone with them. Theyâd probably launch into insults and guilt tripping. Gladiolus wouldnât listen for long though, and would shut their mouth with a kiss. Eventually, the S/O would pass out and upon waking return to normal.Â
Ignis: He would apologize exactly once at the beginning of the fight and throw himself into the fray. But oh, heâd be dying inside with every venomous look and strike his s/o threw his way. Itâd shake him, fighting against someone he loved, and itâd read through in his movement whenever theyâd actually land a hit on him. Heâd keep in the back of his head that they loved him, truly, and this wasnât them attacking him. The others, upon seeing the S/O slip past his guard on more than one occasion, would try to intervene, but heâd order them to stay back, heâd handle it. What he wouldnât be able to handle is to see other hurt his S/O, considering that something terrible must have happened for them to be behaving this way. Heâd keep drawing the fight out, hoping that theyâd snap out of it on their own. And eventually, the brainwashing would begin to fade into confusion, and as soon as theyâd recognize Ignis theyâd throw down their weapons and instead wrap their arms around him.Â
