AL-FUCKING-WAYS

I sometimes get messages about my fics and see other authors get messages like “oh my god im sorry to bother you but-” or apologizing profusely for sending multiple asks.

I promise you guys. Absolutely 0 writers are bothered by you talking to them about their fics. If you want to know a detail or are confused about something they are almost definitely sitting ready with an answer that they are excited to talk about.

Don’t feel like you HAVE to message writers (tho if you liked a fic a lot leaving comments is great encouragement) but never apologize for asking about fics or talking about them!

“I take 0 damage from magic attacks so this was a breeze.”

Wow, How did you manage to null magic?

Shuriken. With Cid’s weapon mod station I evolved the shuriken all to their next form and leveled up each of them with treasures that boosted the different element resistances until I was 100% resistant to that Shuriken’s element and repeated with all three elements. So no damage from lightening, fire, and ice for me.

However, side note: Ignis has a resistance to shuriken, so I had to also include a katana to do some damage to him rather than my usual power boosted shuriken.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who don’t or can’t write the 50k fan-fictions, because of a lack of focus or motivation, or mental illness.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who don’t or can’t write smut, but are still lumped into a group that is almost expected to write smut.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who can’t update chapters frequently for maybe a multitude of reasons, and get messages daily from people asking for “their” new chapter.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who aren’t big name fans and hardly get ten kudos or one comment on their fan-fictions.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who stay up all night editing and rewriting and don’t get much attention on their work no matter how much they feel like they promote their writing.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who don’t write a lot and are constantly asked to write more but can’t for whatever valid reason they have.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who have the courage to post their writing online and only have it publicly made fun of for grammar or poor characterization.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers for writing their fan-fiction, posting it online, and continuing to do it no matter how much or little attention they get, and constantly improving as a writer with every upload.

You all rock.

Shout-out to fan-fiction writers who keep writing for the ship they love in spite of the lack of attention or the hate they get for it.

Hi! I’m trying to figure out how to take pictures of my comrades avatar’s face. How did you do it? P.s. your oc’s are boss!

Ah! So I would just walk up to Vyv, take a look at the pictures his camera guy took, save what I wanted and exit out. But then I would immediately go back to Vyv’s counter and look at what the camera guy took again, and usually it’ll only be one photo of the avatar bothering Vyv. It’s sort of luck kind of thing. Something it’ll only take a shot of them from behind.

TBH I just cropped the image of their faces from a full photo.

You can see it’s just Diaval being vain at the counter. Hopefully this helps!
