What would the chocobros do if their crush called them in the middle of the night just to say that they were missing them and wanted to hear their voice?

Noctis:

He’d probably be asleep and answer sleepily. But he’d chuckle and stay up for just a little longer to talk with them. He misses them too, but doesn’t get a chance to call very often. So he’d appreciate them calling first. (And honestly, they’d both fall asleep listening to one another’s voices.)

Prompto:

I can picture that he’d be up on his phone anyways when they call, and answer right away. He’d be excited to hear them and he can hear their joy at hearing him too. It’d be infectious and they’d end up staying up all night together on the phone. They’d end up wishing each other a good day before hanging up. (They don’t call very often thankfully, but sometimes Prompto caves and calls them instead which leads to the same situation.)

Gladiolus:

He’d be concerned, and sit up in bed worried. But he’d relax at their answer for why they called, and e’d find it endearing. He’d whisper to them quietly, about the next time he’d be in town, or maybe of their past together. They’d talk for about an hour before making each other hang up, so they’d both be ready for the next day. (He’d call first thing after he woke up to say good morning.)

Ignis:

He’d answer like he always does. But he’s voice would soften and he’d ask how they were upon realizing who it was. They wouldn’t even have to tell him they missed his voice, he’d just know. Because, secretly, he missed their voice as well. They’d stay up together until a rather late hour, just talking back and forth. They’d hang up on one another after promising to call at a decent hour next time.

Hi I love your blog, and was wondering if I could have a match up?? I’m 5’1 with a smaller frame but the muscles are more in my legs. I’m cold when you first meet me, but can become sarcastic and bubbly afterwards. I keep my emotions well hidden, and tend to focus on others. I have blue grey eyes, and dark brown hair that falls into waves. Thank you!! And once again love your blog!!!!❤️

I match you with Gladiolus!

Someone who’s cold would be a challenge for Gladio. Everyone around him know he’s someone who like to get to know people under their ‘mask’. And the fact you focus on others would be refreshing to him. I mean, he’d used to focusing on everyone else, as he feels responsible as the shield to watch over everyone. Having someone at his side who’s helping with that burden would ease his mind a lot.

Whats about the boys reaction when their s.o suddenly hug them from behind or give them a kiss out of the blue and say that It was just because they wanted it?

How adorable!

Noctis:

This boy needs a lot of mental preparation for any display of affection. He likes to pretend he’s very unflappable. But something like this would knock him off kilter. Like, he’d be a blushing stuttering mess with a kiss. Perhaps he’d just blush with a hug, and wrap his arms around them in a knee jerk reaction.

“What was that for?” He’d ask. And when they’d give their answer, he’d definitely have to hide his face. He wouldn’t be used to just…affection out of the blue. (But he’d love them for it and hope they’d do it more often.)

Prompto:

He wouldn’t even question it honestly. He loves contact with his S/O, they love contact with him, it’s a win win situation. Though the first time they do it he’d be a bit flustered. Like, what did he do to bring this on? Upon getting his answer, he’d realize that, Oh MY GOSH, WE’RE DATING AND I’M ALLOWED TO SURPRISE THEM TOO.

This often dissolves into them both trying to one up the other. (Though nothing tops the time he kissed them right smack in the middle of a fight, took a selfie while doing it, and then sprung back into battle like nothing happened.)

Gladiolus:

For him, it’d mean more. He’d return whatever they gave him on reflex, only realizing it happened after it was over. Asking them would only lead to that vague answer of they felt like it, but he’d worry that there was another reason. But that wouldn’t stop him from also surprising them too.

And honestly, if his S/O did it in front of the others, part of him would be pleased. It’d mean they weren’t afraid of others seeing how much they cared for each other. No hiding their affection in this relationship would make him a damn happy man.

Ignis:

He wouldn’t really ask questions, perhaps too flustered by their actions. He’s someone who’s used to things being planned out, or perhaps he’s the one who usually initiates all contact. So them surprising him would REALLY be a surprise. But not an unpleasant one. He’d find that he’d look forward to a random hug, and he wouldn’t be very opposed to an unplanned kiss….

So long as the others didn’t tease him too much.

Hello :D is It ok to ask for a scenario for the chocobros when they discover that their s/o keep pictures of them on their cellphone with silly captions like, “love of my life”, “prince charming”, “best bf” :3

Oh Yes! I like this. 😀

Noctis:

He’s a bit surprised when he sees them. Perhaps it’s a mistake, perhaps they willing show him. Either way, he’d hide his face to cover the small blushed there.

“You’re so…You’re such…”

“Adorable? Cute? Perfect?”

“A dork.”

“Hey!

They’d press a kiss to his lips to such him up and snap a selfie with him to add to their collection of adorkable pictures.

Prompto:

He wouldn’t be surprised, considering he willingly posed for some of them. Other photos actually are couples photos of each other. because lets face it, he does the SAME damn thing.

Both would try and out cheesy each other when it comes to pictures and sayings. They, of course, send each other their master pieces at the MOST inappropriate times.

Their favorite photo of one another would actually be set as their lock screens. Prompto’s lock screen would be a photo of them, with the phrase “You’re my moonlight” with LOTS of cheesy stickers and bright bubble gum pink hearts. Theirs would be a picture of him with “You are my sunshine” with the same cheesiness in spades.

If they show each other the picture in person, they still get pink in the face at how adorable the other it.

Gladiolus:

Relentless. Teasing.

Like, he’d think it was dorky and cute. And it would make his day. But that doesn’t mean they’d be safe from teasing. He’d make it a point to drop hints around them around others about the pictures, just to see them flush.

Ignis:

Perhaps his S/O was trying to show him a picture they saved specifically to show him later. And when trying to show him, he gets a glimpse of a picture of himself with something written over it. He’d ask to go back but they’d pretend they hadn’t heard him, and practically shove their phone in his face(With the picture they had saved) to try and distract him.

Turns out, this only makes him more curious.

Later on they leave their phone unlocked and laying in the open for a few moments and that’s all he needs. He’s a bit surprised to see that the pictures with him all have silly and sweet things scrawled on them. His face would turn slightly pink, and he’d get a goofy grin on his face. His favorite has to be his face, circled in a heart, and with the single word scrawled above it.

“Mine.”

They’d come back then and absolutely freak out, their own face turning a delightful shade of red. They demand to know how much he’d seen. And he’d tease them by saying everything. Oh dear six, they’d cover their face, utterly mortified that he’d seen those pictures. He’d just laugh it off and wrap them in a hug and press a kiss to their temple.

“Love you too.”

Can I please see headcanons and/or scenarios of the chocobros and their S/O adopting kids??? Like their thoughts on adoption, preferences on age and such, etc. THANKS~

Headcanons and scenarios? Righto!

Noctis:

Honestly, I think he’d prefer adoption to having a biological child. One that wouldn’t have the burden of holding the wall around insomnia.

Perhaps he’s aware that he needs to have a blood related heir to the throne. And perhaps he and his S/O accept that and they’d consent to having one, either by their own body or by surrogate. But that wouldn’t stop them from going out a picking another child to love as well. It wouldn’t go over well at first, because an adopted child could contest the throne of the bloodline child. But they still wouldn’t care, choosing to love both equally.

The other three of the quartet would accept the child as his as well. Ignis would be fair and care for them both. Gladio would watch over each one, and honestly, he’d probably enlist Iris’ help in shielding the twins. Prompto would be listed as their godfather, and take his role very seriously by watching over them constantly.

Noctis would probably prefer a baby or a toddler. Someone young enough to raise as his own. He’d want them to know that they have been loved for most of their life by him. (Perhaps they get a child the same age as their own, and raise them as twins.) Gender doesn’t matter, and neither does physical appearance. (But honestly, he’d lean toward a child that looks like his S/O.)

Growing up, the child wouldn’t know they were adopted. They’d just think they were related to the S/O because of their similarities. It would be when they’re older, and there are whispers around the palace that they’d begin to question their lineage. Perhaps the careless whisper of a maid catches their ear when they’re in high school. Their sibling would try and reassure them, but they wouldn’t listen. From that day forward they’d start noticing little things about themself that didn’t fit. Perhaps they have freckles but no one in their family did. And where did their eye color come from? Why did their hair curl when no one else’s did?

When they turn 18, despite their twin’s begging, they’d go to their parents and demand an answer. And Noctis and his S/O would answer honestly and carefully, wanting to ease the truth onto their child. But once what they heard was confirmed, they’d quietly retire to their room and wait for the night. Upon night fall, I can picture they’d run away, leaving insomnia for a time. Just to think and try to figure out if they’re OKAY with the revelation.

After a few years, perhaps when they’re 21, they’d sneak back into the city and see that the top headline was the royal family’s continued search for their missing child. And while they’re distracted, who is behind them but the shield of the family Gladio. They don’t notice it’s him until he grabs them and literally picks them up and throws them into a car. It would only have been chance he’d been out and about that day, and part of him wanted to let them go, understanding the need to figure things out on their own. But another part of him couldn’t do that to Noctis. So, into the car they’d go, even if they’re kicking and screaming. (Honestly, they hadn’t planned on getting caught, they had just wanted to check things at home.)

They’d get to the palace and try darting out the door of the car as soon as it stopped but they’d smack right into Prompto who’d wrap them in a hug and refuse to let go. They’d see Ignis on the way to the throne room, and he’d laugh at how surly they look. (Clearly they were NOT happy about being dragged back here.)

Word would have been sent ahead to the royal family that they’d been found, and they were waiting to see them. And upon seeing them, yes, they’d act cold, but they’d be glad to see they all looked well. They’d have doubts. Why were they adopted when they already had a child. Did they love them like they loved their sibling? They’d be scared of these answers and that’s what kept them away.

But things would turn out find. They’d all go and talk it out. There would still be a rift between the two siblings because they left, but it would heal. And they’d realize that adopted or not, this was their family and they shouldn’t have doubted them.

Prompto:

He’d probably also prefer adoption. And his chosen age group would be pre-teens and teenagers. The ones who didn’t get picked, and were forced to grow up alone. He’d want them to feel like they were wanted, and worthy of love.

He’d talk it out with his S/O, or maybe his S/O brings up that they can’t have, or don’t want, biological children. Which would be fine with him. (Honestly, he can’t picture himself have a biological child as well.) And both would agree that an older child would fit right in with them. (His S/O ends up picking children that look like Prompto though)

Perhaps it’d be a struggle to get the adoption put through, because neither were home very often. (Prompto would often work as a photographer and have assignments that forced him to travel a lot. And his S/O would always accompany him.) And he wouldn’t want to just leave a child on their own either. He’d want to do what his parents never did for him and take them with.

But a life on the road isn’t ideal for an adoption, and they’d struggle to get approved. (Noctis actually might have to intervene.) But once they are they’d probably fall in love with more than one child. Which results in them adopting two. Which is fine! But not what they had planned for. But they take it in stride and it works. The kids love how nothing seems to be planned, as their lived before this were nothing but plans. And while it may take some time for the kids to think of them as parents, the first time one of them does call Prompto ‘Dad’ he’s in tears. Their home is big enough for all of them, and they highly enjoy being together as a family. It’s pure happiness. And then there’s their ‘uncles’.

Gladio offers to train them to learn how to defend themselves, because you never know right? But only one of them takes him up on the offer. And after a few rounds of sparring Gladio realizes having a blade in their hand was nothing new. They actually trust him enough to reveal that their parents had been a part of the crowns guard, and died years ago in an attack. Honestly, they only agreed to be trained by him because they were curious if they remembered what their parents taught them.

The second child has such a crush on Ignis that they actually start following him around. He just assumes it’s curiosity about his job and offers an apprenticeship to them, stating that they have a good head on their shoulders and would make an excellent adviser if they wanted. They accept after talking it over with Prompto and the crush passes. They actually do enjoy learning from Ignis.

Noctis freaking SPOILS them. Like, he doesn’t even have any chill about buying them what they want. Because honestly, MINI PROMPTOS. He ended up sort of spoiling Prompto in high school when he’d let him, so there was no WAY he wasn’t going to spoil his kids.

All three are currently fighting over who’s their godfather.

Gladiolus:

Honestly, he’d want children of his own. Buuuut. Perhaps that’s not a possibility or an option. He wouldn’t mind if that was the case. Adoption would probably be the first, and only, solution he’d consider. Besides, it wouldn’t be a big deal to him. He’s not the only child of the Amicitias. Iris can pass on the bloodline if it was that important. (Though honestly, there have been adoptions in the family in the past as well. Family is family, and he’d punch anyone who said otherwise.)

Anyways. He’d only want one child. And he’d want them to look like his S/O. That’s the only thing he wants. Otherwise? Age and gender doesn’t matter. His S/O would decide on a child that does look like them, a 5 year old to be specific. His S/O would take the lead in caring for the child at first, while Gladio figures out how they’re going to do this. He didn’t expect to be NERVOUS. But he’d fall in love with the child the first time he see the child cuddled up with his S/O.

They’d be a rather happy family, and Gladio would actually be a little over protective of them. To the point where he’d probably have them nearby him at work all the time. Iris would sometimes, just to mess with him, STEAL his child in the middle of a hallway. Like one minute he’d be walking down the hall, on his way to see someone, with little soft footsteps behind him. He’d get distracted by something for a few moments and continue on his way, only to realize the footsteps were MISSING.

Oh boy.

He’d kind of panic and look high and low for the little guy, having flashbacks to when Iris disappeared with Noctis. Iris would finally take pity on him and call him, letting him know she had tham. Catch her if you can, because she is in LOVE with her new Nephew/Niece. Eventually Gladio’s S/O has to step in and get their child back after a day of shenanigans with Iris.

The child would grow up loved, and fully aware that they’re adopted. They’re like, the kid who get made fun of for it, but fires back, “MY PARENTS CHOSE MEEEEE! Your’s didn’t get a choice.”  which results in fights. Lost of school fights. And Gladio is internally thrilled that they win every single one. But has to scold them because fighting is bad. (His S/O totally knows he’s proud of his child for standing up for themself though, but lets it slide.)

This kid is also, FEISTY. Like, they’ll take a run at Gladio in a sparring session and will keep swinging even if Galdio has them held back with one hand. Also, this kid is a high energy nightmare. Think Calvin and Hobbs. But…Gladio and his S/O wouldn’t have it any other way. They adore them.

Surprisingly, Prompto is listed as the godfather. Which would have him reduced to blubbering tears. Because holy crap the SHIELD of the royal family would entrust his kid to him if anything happened to their parents. He’d be so honored. And lets be real, the only person who can keep up with the child is Prompto. Even Gladio and the S/O struggles with it.

Ignis would try and instill some levelheadedness in the kid during their lessons with him. (I picture Ignis becoming a sort of tutor for the royal family when they do start having kids.) Buut…Ignis is used to children who are QUIET and RESERVED. This kid gives him a run for his money every time they’re together. But he adapts and though he’s considered the boring uncle, the kid likes being with him all the same.

Noctis would try his best to keep up with the kid if he ever, for some reason, has to watch them. But this kid is off the charts in energy and he’d eventually have to call Prompto for help. Basically, Noctis accidentally spoils the kid without meaning to whenever they’re with him, simply because he CAN’T KEEP UP.

The kid mellows out as they grow, and taking a few note from Ignis becomes a MASTER statistician…which they use for pranks and traps.

Ignis:

He was adopted himself as a baby is my personal headcanon. He’s completely aware of this, and so when his S/O brings up adoption he’s all for it.

He’d want a younger child, but not too young. He and his S/O have time enough to raise a child, and they deeply want to, but not so much time that they’d be able to raise them from a baby. So they go with a child that’s 8 or 9. Old enough to manage on their own if left to their own devices, but young enough to be theirs. Appearance wise, Ignis doesn’t care. Honestly, he’d leave that up to his S/O. And they’d pick a child that looked a bit like Ignis himself to his surprise.

They’d spend time together, trying to see where each other fit in their lives. Ignis and his S/O managed to fit their lives around each other, and eventually figure out where their kid fits. Which, the kid is so sweet that they don’t really complain about anything. Which made it all the harder to figure out what worked and didn’t work. (Both were fully aware the child wanted to be perfect. FOR them. Because they didn’t want to go back to the adoption center.)

Eventually, they’d work in tandem. One would pick up the child from school, the other would drop off the child. They’d take turns taking the kid to work with them, spending all their free time with them. IT would be rare, but they’d make it work so that they’d eat lunch all together every once in a while. Dinner was always together though.

They all love being in the kitchen.

Ignis would be a little surprised that when they get older, they reveal they want to be an artist. But he’d support them none the less.

Gladio would be the cool uncle to them. They’re entirly unsuited for combat, but still insist on learning how to fight from him. Though he’d try and persuade them that Ignis or Ignis’ S/O would be the better for them to learn from. Because there was no way they’d be able to swing a greatsword like they wanted. But, a little bit of Ignis’ sassiness would reveal itself when they’re like, “Don’t tell me what to do” and promptly go for a greatsword to practice with.

Prompto would try and help them achieve their goal of being an artist. He’d be pretty big in the photo scene, and would use some of his contacts to try and help them learn the industry. They get a long fairly well. Prompto, true to form, would be a bad influence. Starting with the day they come home from his place with GREEN hair. (Due to a mishap, his own would be pink.)

Noctis and they would bond over one thing. Their hatred of vegetables. He’d give them tips and trick on how to AVOID eating the veggies in Ignis’ cooking, ‘Take it from me kid, I’ve been eating with him for most of my life.’

Ignis would never name a godfather, because he’d be so sure that he’d NEVER leave his child alone in the world.

Headcanons of the Chocobros with a male s/o with long hair

Trying my best, but going in circles. D:

Noctis:

They went to the same high school together.

The only reason they met was because he sat in front of the prince and his hair was longer than most.

It’d trail on his desk whenever he leaned backward which would lead to an awkward situation where Noctis falls asleep on top of his hair.

He’d be stuck because if he tried moving, the sleeping prince would accidentally pull his hair. Which would hurt. (He’d always had a sensitive scalp.)

He’d have to turn to Prompto for help. Prompto would lift Noctis, who would still be dead to the world off his hair and he’d bolt after that, embarrassed about what had just occurred. (He doesn’t even realize Prompto took a picture.)

Which would lead to Prompto showing it to Noctis later that he’d made a new friend.

Noctis’ future S/O wouldn’t wear his hair lose during school after that, not wanting a repeat of what had just happened. And he’d be sure too keep his hair over his shoulder and in front of him.

Though, this incident would led to them becoming friends. And later on, after a few times when Noctis would play with his hair during sleep overs, or maybe comment how nice he looks with it down, they’d start dating. (He doesn’t put his hair up very often after that.)

(Noctis totally once used his S/O’s hair to guide him into a kiss because he wasn’t paying attention to him.)

Being close to the prince also meant learning how to protect him. And holy six, Noctis liked seeing him spar with his hair down. It would billow behind him when he moved.

Years down the road, whenever he needed to get his S/O’s attention, he’d just grab a stand of his hair.

Which would cause him to freeze because, “Please don’t pull my hair, I’m fragile.” But he’d still let him do it. He wouldn’t mind if it was Noctis. Something that Noctis picked up on.

Though if anyone ELSE touches his hair, Noctis would immediately becomes upset on his behalf. Because anyone else touching his hair made him uncomfortable. Also, because it was weird having complete strangers wanting to touch his hair just because it was so long.

Prompto:

Prompto has always been a very tactile person. And so touching any S/O’s hair would mean a whole lot to him. Especially long hair. He’d love trailing his hands though it. Especially since his S/Os hair is so soft…

He’d get a giggle at pulling out his hair tie. Perhaps he’d pulled it back because it was in his face and he needed to see. Or maybe he always had it out of his face. Point is Prompto would love messing up his hair. Especially when he wanted attention.

He’d sigh in defeat when it’d fall in his face, used to this sort of thing and turn and face Prompto, probably surprising him with a kiss to his nose.

Seeing him with his hair down is a treat for him. And he would not be able to resist touching it of course.

Though after the first time his wrist bands became tangled in his hair, he’d refrain from running his hands through it, no matter how much he wanted to.

Because ow, he’d tugged out a few pieces of hair on accident with his wrist bands. And rather than take them off, he’d just…stop touching his hair.

The simplest solution, of course, would be to take them off. But he wouldn’t. Because him and his S/O both knew that he was hiding something under his wristbands. And his s/o wouldn’t ask what was there. But he would miss Prompto’s affectionate touches.

He, instead, would get tired of the kicked puppy look on Prompto, and one day just flat out say, “You can touch my hair you know.”

This would lead to a talk about the wrist bands, and lead to the conclusion that, Yes, his S/O did miss him touching his hair, and that Prompto missed running his hand through it. So they came up with a solution that Prompto would take off the wrist bands, but his s/o would keep his eyes closed.

It would work too. Prompto would trust his S/O to keep his eyes closed, and his s/o wouldn’t break that trust.

Even after Prompto decides to make it a game by pressing kisses to his neck and collar bone when he least expects it. (He’d absolutely have the self control not to open his eyes since Prompto would mention he still had his wrist bands off.)

And to Prompto’s delight he discovers that his S/O will fall asleep with his hair out because having his hair played with relaxes him. So long as it’s just him brushing his hand through his hair.

Gladio:

Surprisingly, Gladio fell in love with an artist, with long hair, and even longer hours at a desk.

He’d be someone who grew out his hair by accident. He’d think there was never time to do anything outside of his work, and actually kind of neglect himself really.

Which, Gladio would hate and love at the same time. He’d enjoy brushing out his hair, because he’d often just wake up and go to work after a shower with out brushing it. And since he’d never really do anything with it, it’s super soft. But also, it’s getting ridiculously long.

Gladio would like twirling pieces of it between his fingers when they’re laying together.

Gladio also likes brushing his hair out of his face while he sleeps.

Sometimes, if he knows his S/O has a long day ahead of them the next day. He’ll help braid his hair before they go to bed, so he can just get up and go to work without fussing with it.

Though, lord if he ever suggest to Gladio that he’s thinking about getting a hair cut, Gladios going to start listing every single reason he loves his hair.

Ignis:

He’d love fixing his S/O’s hair. And he’d likes trying to see how detailed he could get before his S/O becomes exasperated with his efforts.

However, his S/O would enjoy it as well. Though, he wouldn’t be able to resist tugging a strand or two out of place, pieces that trail across their face. Simply because it annoys Ignis to see him even SLIGHTLY unkempt.

Perhaps also, because those strands of hair frame his face PERFECTLY, he draws more attention to himself from others.

Ignis has never been a jealous person, but seeing him being fawned over would get under his skin a little.

For Ignis, seeing him with his hair down is always an interesting experience. Because it softens his features. Somehow makes him look younger. But at the same time, his hair is NOT pin straight and almost looks wild at times. Fluffy almost.

He usually only looks like that when they’re going to sleep so seeing him in public like that does inspire some jealousy. (And by some, I mean a burning inferno of jealously.)

When they go to sleep, Ignis actually likes hold a hand in his hair. Which was strange, but he doesn’t mind. If Ignis wants reassurance he’s there, and he gets that by holding his hair, it’s fine.

Headcanon with the Chocobros and a s/o who has so many freckles. More than three Promptos would have together! (*whispers* Separate please ~)

FRECKLES. YES.

Noctis:

He’d seen freckles before of course, Prompto was his best friend after all. But he’d never have seen SO MANY on one person. And they wore it well.

On top of that, they were very gentle looking. So staring ended up being a thing.

They, as it turns out, were anything but gentle.

His S/o, before they were his S/O, would hold their head high and have a look on their face that DARED someone to mention anything about their freckles.

They’d been made fun of a lot for how many they had. And now that they were older, they had learned how to shut up ANYTHING said about them. WITH THEIR FISTS.

So Noctis staring at them so much made for a rather interesting introduction.

They’d be very defensive over their freckles, so when he compliments them (Even after they’ve pretty much threatened to beat him into the ground if he said something negative about their skin) they’re more than a little thrown off guard.

They tentatively became friends and that soon progressed into a romance.

Years later, he’d stare staring at their skin again.

In Insomnia, the freckles had always been faint, but on the road trip together they DARKEN considerably.

Looking at the mass of speckles across their face and shoulders was entrancing to him, because there were just SO MANY MORE now.

Eventually, his S/O would have enough and be like, “Cut it out!” Oh they’d be embarrassed. They’re fine with their freckles, but with them receiving so much attention from HIM because of THEM again… they would get very flustered.

He would the first time around, just out of embarrassment, because he really hadn’t realized he had been staring so much.

But later on he would be able to look away and just give up, staring openly and tracing patterns with his eyes.

This would often lead to his S/O demanding he stop and him smugly pretending he didn’t know what they’re talking about.

But then, at night when they’re lying together in the dark, he’d be close enough to see the fainter ones, the ones just beginning to fill in, that cover their face.

Across their nose, their cheeks, on their eyelids. He’d even notice that their lips had some spotted across them.

He’d think of how lucky he was that the person he loved has entire galaxies embedded in their skin.

Prompto:

FRECKLE BUDDIES.

Seriously, they just saw each other at school and decided to be friends just because they both had FRECKLES.

It was such a silly thing to bond over, but oh well. They could both use a little silliness in their lives.

From trying to distract each other by jabbing the particularly big ones on each other, or tracing pictures with their fingers on each others arms, it was only natural that they’d become closer.

When they do start dating, a running joke between them is trying to remember which ones they’ve kissed.

Sometimes they name each other’s freckles. It’s always a sad day when one of them gets a scar/scratch. “Frankie noooo!!”

When on the trip together, their favorite joke to play on one another is playing connect the dots on the other while they sleep. With bright colors. Pink was his S/O’s favorite color to use on him, and his was green.

The leads to a rule never letting EITHER of them take first watch or when they’re on watch, they have ONE other person with them.

They retaliate together by bespeckling the others in ‘freckles’ with a permanent marker. (Boy THAT was a day. Good thing they both have some pretty fast chocobos.)

Freckle contests are thing, with them both staying in the sun seeing if they can get anymore to develop. Prompto never wins because his S/O is absolutely covered in them.

They’re also absolutely good looking in his opinion.

They still try and kiss each other’s freckles before bed. (something less silly and more serious is that for every freckle that’s kissed, they promise to tell each other a secret about themselves.)

Gladio:

They whine when he makes them take off their jacket and uncover their face. They wanted to stay out of the sun, thank you very much, because the sun made the “things” worse.

But he’d worry they’d overheat and make them take them off anyways.

They’d do it reluctantly, and when they do they reveal all the freckles strewn across their visage.

Adorned. They look like they’d adorned by the six themselves and they were EMBARRASSED by them.

That would piss Gladio off to no end, but not at them. No, he’d be pissed at whoever made them think their freckles were something to be ashamed of. Because they were damn beautiful, with or without the flecks dotting their skin.

So he’d be sure to tell them that while the freckles were in the open. Complimenting them left and right in small whispers that would absolutely make them blush to the tips of the freckled ears.

“You look like you have pieces of sunlight embedded in your skin.” “You look like someone painted the sky on you.” “Your freckles look like a gallery of art and I want to admire every single one.”

They’d reach for their face cover after awhile and whine again. “Gladio, please don’t be stupid, I look ridiculous with all these ugly…”

They’d trail off at the look he’d give them. And then he’d snatch away their jacket and face cover. It’s be them running around in the sun after him, as he’d darted away, and them cursing him to Ifrit’s side and back.

They’d manage to catch up to him, but at the last moment he’d turn on heel and sweep them up into his arms.

“I’m going to show you all the reasons you’re so amazing to look at.” He’d say as he starts poking their freckles where he knows they’re ticklish. “There’s one here, and here, and another…”

They’d screech and try to wiggle away, as he’d start to count every single damned freckle on them, all the while they’d be trying to deny that they were good looking.

Finally, just to get him to stop, they’d agree with him. After which he’d let go of them and they’d just sit on the ground where they were.

Perhaps they’d be a tad upset with him. But they’d know he was only trying to help.

“…You know how hard this is for me.” They’d whisper, and he’d nod.

When they were younger, their freckles got them tormented relentlessly. Add in that they were the only child in their family with freckles, and considered ugly by ever their own mother, they grew up unaccepting of themselves.

And Gladio would try like hell ot change their opinion about themself.

Ignis:

At first, he wouldn’t know about his S/O freckles.

They wore make up to hide them, and shirts that covered everything. Not because they hated them, no, far from it. They loved them. They just didn’t enjoy the attention they brought.

So when night falls and they’re getting ready for bed, they take off their makeup and just simply climb in and go to sleep next to Ignis.

And when he wakes up he nearly jerks away from them in surprise. It still looked like them, but HOLY SIX how did he not know about this?

They’d be covered across their collar bone, their shoulders, up their neck, all over their face. HOW had he never noticed?? (Don’t even get him started on the tattoos that create constellations out of their freckles.)

He’d find them absolutely breathtaking, and reach up to touch them, trailing his hand over their cheek. Which would wake them.

They’d meet his eyes and blink exactly once before flushing a deep red color, realizing why he was staring.

“O-oh. You’ve never seen me without…?” they’d ask quietly.

“I haven’t.” He’d whisper. He’s kiss them very sweetly and cautiously, not wanting to startle them. “You look lovely with them.”

They’d just lay there, and he’d ask about the constellation tattoos and they’d answer, growing comfortable around him.

But then they’d get up and start getting ready for the day, and they’d cover them again. For their own comfort. And Ignis would understand.

Though, if they ever missed a spot he wouldn’t tell them with words, but press a kiss there.

Hello, first of all, I love your writing! It’s very good :3 I was wondering if I could request a headcanon? Like, how would the guys react if during battle their s/o jumped in front of them and took a life threatening hit for them and barely survived? o.o Thank you :3

Noctis:

He’d be absolutely APPALLED upon seeing his S/O take an ice bomb in full force on his behalf.

He hadn’t been watching himself as carefully as he should have, and had left himself unguarded.

And Ice bomb had seen the opening and moved to get closer and implode.

But his S/O would have dropped their weapon and ran over, flinging him clear of the attack at the last moment.

They’d be covered in frost instantly, and drop to the ground. The very air they BREATHED hurt them because it was so cold.

He’d rush over to them, fending off another attack before it could hurt them even more.

However, they’d be frozen where they had dropped, and start shaking uncontrollably. They wouldn’t feel like they couldn’t breath and everything would start to fade.

It was so cold.

Meanwhile, he’d have to leave them on the ground where they are so he can finish dispatching the enemies with the rest of the group.

Once that’s done he’d rush back to their side and pull them into his arms.

Ignis would tell him they’d need to get them to a safe area and raise their body temperature before it took too much of a toll.

They’d do just that. They’d get to a haven, strip them down to their tanktop and jeans, bundle them in blankets by the fire and Noctis would just hold them.

They’d hope it was enough.

When they’d come to, they’d still fell cold, but alive. And Noctis would kiss them all over their face in relief, and tell them never to do that to him again.

They’d dead look him in the eye and refuse. “Feelings for each other aside, it’s part of my JOB to keep you alive.”

So he’d retaliate by refusing to let them free of the blankets and his arms until they agree.

They wouldn’t mind, “I’m still cold anyways.”

Of course, then he’d threaten to leave them by the camp fire alone.

Which, they reply they’re certain one of the other guys would be GLAD to help them warm up. (They’re joking but that only makes Noctis sullen and cause him to ignore them even if he refused to let them go.)

It’s be a source of tension. They’re willing to die for him, but he’d want them to live for him.

TLDR; He’d panic, but do right by them. He’d do everything he could to make them better, and when they are better, he’d make them promise not to do it again. However, if they don’t agree he will grow angry. But not at them. It’d make him want to strive to be better. So the next time he’s in a situation like that, his S/O wouldn’t have to almost die for him.

Prompto:

He hadn’t seen the MT until it was too late. They had lunged forward for him, a diagonal slash ready to take him out of the battle.

But it never landed. His S/O tackled him out of the way, but in the process was struck themselves.

The blow landed across their collar bones, much too close to the throat for his comfort. And they’d start losing blood. A frightening amount of it, and they’d be unconscious in seconds.

He’d press his hands to the wound to try and slow the bleeding and it does help some. But the blood would start to stain his hands after a while.

He’d start gunning like a madman, never leaving their side. Just pointing and shooting through his fear.

When the battles over, he’d quickly call everyone over to see who had a curative.

He’d pour the potion down their throat, and feel the skin knit back together under his hands.

They wouldn’t wake though. The potion could heal the flesh but not replace blood.

So they’d camp for the night, and Prompto would wait for them to wake up after trying to wash their blood from his hands. (It’s stained there, and scared the shit out of him every time he sees it.)

When they wake they ask if HE’S alright.

His starts gibbering nonsense he’s so pissed at them, turning red in the face from frustration, and only managed to make one sentence come out clear.

“DON’T DO THAT AGAIN.”

And they’d laugh, high pitched and clear and pull him down into a kiss with them. “I love you too.”

TLDR; He’d panic as well, but handle it. It would only be after they’re out of danger and recovering he’d realize, “holy shit, I almost lost them.” He’d find the thought so upsetting, he wouldn’t be able to make actual words come out of his mouth, only distressed noises. And he’d be angry at them. He’d think he wasn’t worth dying over.

Gladio:

He had trained to handle dangerous situations, and could withstand most things. But one doesn’t walk away from a fight with a coeurl unharmed.

When it casts lightning at him, he fully expected to be taken out of the fight by it. He was prepared for it.

But nothing could have prepared him to see his S/O step in front of him so calmly, and absorb the shock meant for him.

On someone his size, it would have hurt him yes, maybe even kept him down for a week or so. But on someone their size…

Their heart stopped dead in their chest and they fell to the ground.

He’d roar and end up fighting all the harder. And when the beast is dead he’d demand a phoenix down to bring them back.

And up the feather going up in flames, they’d inhale sharply and clutch at his sleeve.

“You’re okay. You’re okay.” He’d reassure. And then he’d scoop them off the ground and carry them to their camp.

He knew that no matter what he’d say that they loved him too much to let him be hurt. And he’d do the same. It was an understanding between them.

That didn’t mean it wouldn’t hurt him to think about losing them because of his mistakes.

TLDR; He accepts that their love will cause them to protect the other, and get hurt on the other’s behalf. And he’d fine with it. But he’d suffer mentally and scold himself over and over if he did almost lose them.

Ignis:

He’d usually so careful. He watches the other’s backs and heals when he’d needed. And as a result he watches his own back constantly as well. He can’t afford to slip up when the others rely on him.

But all’s it takes is one misstep.

An MT assassin rushing up to him in a blind spot. He’d hear his S/O yell his name too late and brace for the pain.

But it never came. He’d look behind him and see his S/O standing over the defeated MT. He’d thank them, and they’d say think nothing of it.

It wouldn’t be untl after the battle he sees that they’ve been run through with a poisoned blade.

They’d hang on just for him though, refusing to go unconscious while he administered the antidote first, and then pull the blade out and gave them a potion.

They’d be a shaky mess from how hard it was to hang on, but in the end he’d pull them into an embrace. He’d feel so guilty for letting his guard waver.

“everyone needs someone to watch their back Ig. You can’t be perfect.”

TLDR: he’d be the most stable out of them all, the emotions of almost losing them hitting him after they’re fully healed and out of danger.

Hi there! I’d like to request reaction scenarios (or headcanons, if easier for you) for the bros who couldn’t reach their s/o after the fall of Insomnia only to be told by Iris (or another member of the Crownsguard) that they were severely injured while trying to escape and still recovering in Lestallum? Love me some angst. ;) Thank you for your time.

D: ….here you go. xD I love angst but don’t know if I do it justice.

Noctis:

Someone very dear to him had been left in Insomnia. And he was headed for Altissia. It wasn’t a good thing or a bad one. It just was. They both knew, when they had first started their relationship, that one day they’d have to depart from one another. Because he was a prince and they…he didn’t want to say they were common but that’s how everyone else saw them. No matter how much they cared, their bloodline, or rather their lack of one, would part them. And he did care. He cared almost too much. And the words Ignis had spoken crushed him.

“There was an attack. The imperial army has taken the crown city.”

He felt sick at first. The king, his father, was confirmed dead. That alone was enough to upset him nearly to the point of tears. But then a moment later he recalled the person who he had left behind, and sheer panic flooded his system. When he had a moment alone, he dialed their number on their phone. But there was no answer.

He was distraught to say the least. He’d lost his father. Had he lost them as well? He knew the answer. Considering that they had been a member of the Kingsglaive, and the king was dead…he knew the answer. That would be when they’d go to observe the city at a distance, and they’d see the devastation first hand. Prompto on his behalf would be calling their phone very 5 minutes during the car ride there, in the hope that they’d answer and prove they were alright.

But upon arriving there’d still be no response.

He’d want to fall to his knees and scream at the world upon seeing the crown city in the distance. At the devastation that befell it. Of the dead he could not reach. Lunafreya’s name was added to the list then, and even his own name. How could life take so much away from him in such a short time?

That would be when they all start calling anyone in the city they know, trying to find out who was alive and who was dead. Cor would pick up and Noctis would demand answers. He’d tell them where to meet him, and confirm the king’s death. Noctis would ask about his ‘friend’ and Cor would only say he’d explain more upon seeing Noctis in person.

It’d give him hope. Maybe, just maybe, depending on what Cor said, they’d have made it out alright. Maybe there was one less name on the list of the dead. Finding Cor had been a challenge on it’s own, considering he had already moved on from Hammerhead by the time they reached there. Cindy would make sure they’re all right and give them directions on where to go.

That’s when she’d mention that Cor had a companion with him. One that wasn’t doing too well.

They hurried onward after that, hope beating in Noctis’ chest. Please please please let it be them. And upon reaching the outpost, they’d point him in the direction Cor was. Upon meeting with him, he’d explain things. About the blades he’d have to find, about the king’s motivations, and that the entire Glaive had fallen for their king.

But the the topic would then turn to the one he had managed to save. Most had died of their wounds, but this one? They had fought tooth and nail for their duty, even after being mortally wounded. It hadn’t been enough of course. Nothing would have been enough to stop the destruction of the city and death of the king. But they had held on for so long, long after their fellow glaives had succumbed to their wounds, that he couldn’t just leave them to die. So he brought them with. Did the best he could even after they went unconscious. And had hunters escort them to Lestallum to be taken care of by a friend of his.

He wouldn’t be able to see them for a long time. Cor didn’t even know their name. But the potential for it to be them was what gave him strength to keep moving forward. And even if it wasn’t them…He felt he owed a thanks to this member of the Kingsglaive for fighting for his father until the end.

And when he does get to Lestallum…It’s them. They’re in a wheelchair from how weakened they were, war torn, and despondent. But it’s them. And they’re expected to make a full physical recovery. They have a new scar along their forehead and along their neck from blades. He’s told they also have a few scars along their torso from bullets. It had been a very close call.

But then, it’d be revealed that they don’t remember much of anything. The trauma to their head took their memories away from them, and he’d apologize to them. They’d state he had nothing to apologize for. And on top of that, they’d stand up from their wheelchair, with great difficulty, and kneel before him. They’d state the only thing they do remember is the oath they took to serve the king. And since the previous king had passed, they’d like to stay at his side to serve as soon as they were well enough.

“A Kingsglaive has no purpose without a king to serve.”

It’d hurt. But he wouldn’t want to leave them again. So he’d allow it, and pull them to their feet.

“You stand as my equal now.” He’d mutter. You were always my equal.

How silly they’d been to allow something like bloodlines to part them. And it’d be uncertain if they’d ever be able to be together again with their missing memories. But they would stay by his side. Ifrit’s fire or Shiva’s wind, he wouldn’t let them leave his side ever again.

The others, of course, wouldn’t object. An experienced member of the kingsglaive fighting beside them would be welcome. (Plus, who could bear parting Noctis from the one person he’d managed to recover from the fallen city?) And so, they’d fight beside him, and grow furious with him if he’d try to protect them. Which he would. A lot. He’d fear for them more than he did for himself.

~

Bonus:

At the back of their mind, they’d felt like there was something important, something they knew they had lost, just within their reach… But they’d never strive to recover it. They pain they had felt every time they tried would keep them from it. And the pain they could see on Noctis’ face would cause them to keep him at arms length.

They’d never recover their memories willingly.

Prompto:

No one but him knew of the person he left behind. He, surprisingly, is very shy about his lovers, past and present. He’d have dozens of photos of his S/O, but those photos would only be for him. Which wasn’t weird…right? He’s not ashamed of them or anything, but he’d be uncomfortable letting his friends know about them for fear of being fun of. And they wouldn’t mind. No, they were patient and kind and loved him unreservedly. And they were willing to wait until he was absolutely sure in their relationship to reveal it.

He came to regret his silly reason for hiding their relationship.

When Insomnia falls, he’s pretty much alone in dealing with the fact they might be gone. The other don’t even KNOW about them after all. And Prompto is horrifyingly good at hiding what he’s feeling.

The other’s would have no clue about the turmoil he’d go through.

He’d still be the perfect best friend, letting Noctis lean on him and pretending he hadn’t lost anything. Which in truth, compared to the others he really had lost the least. And he let them assume that he hadn’t lost anyone important. Gods above it hurt to pretend as if his S/O didn’t exist, but he’d do it. For Noct’s sake.

They’d see the devastation for themselves, and upon seeing the others take out their phone to call those they cared about in the city. He’d subtly send a text to them, and hope for a response.

‘Darling, please, please answer if you’re alright. Please.’

When days had passed and there was no sign that they had even seen the message, he’d finally break. Mentally and emotionally. The others would worry about him when suddenly, the bubbly gunner would just fall quiet. And stay that way. He’d still be as supportive as ever, but his humor would be almost nonexistent. And though they enjoyed the precision and how ruthless he had become in battle, they’d miss the playful way he used to fight, and the balance he had brought with his actions.

Eventually, they’d corner him and it wouldn’t take much for it to come bursting out. Because he loved them damn it, and they weren’t responding. He was scared, and he didn’t want them to know. He was being selfish by even telling them he’d say. He never wanted to bother any of them with this. And they’d understand. They’d scold him lightly for not telling them sooner, but they’d understand.

They’d let him rest and recover for a while, camping while he worked through his loss. But no matter what they did, he just wouldn’t be the same. Noctis had been supportive and welcoming, and though it would help it wouldn’t heal. Ignis would make an effort to talk more with the youngest of their group, but responses that were sharp, cutting, and to the point would be all he’d get in return. Gladio would try to, literally, smack some sense into him…if only he could get a grip on him. Prompto was a slippery uncatchable little shit when he wanted to be.

Nothing would work and they’d eventually be forced to continue onward with Prompto in his current state. And that’s when suddenly there would be a phone call from their number, and he’d scramble to answer.

“Hello?!”

The voice on the other line was not theirs but he’d fall to his knees all the same. They were alive. Barely though. A coma had them in it’s grips. They had just been removed from the city by some of the few crownsguard left alive doing rescue work and were currently being housed at Lestallum in the hopes that they’d wake up. Apparently they had been caught in the crossfire of a battle. They weren’t sure if it was the MT’s or the city, but someone had set off blast charges. Which caused a building they had been near to implode, and the rubble to knock them into unconsciousness.

From there, they had been taken to a small makeshift hospital where they had been recovering for the past weeks. It was only when they were moved outside the city and were near a power source that their phone reactivated and got their attention when a text notification had pinged. They had hoped there would be someone to contact about them, and Prompto’s number was the first number they tried.

So after being fully updated, with his bros listening in so they knew what was going on, they’d agree to go to Lestallum for Prompto’s sake. To see if there was any hope for his S/O waking soon.

Unfortunately, there was no miraculous wake up. No, they were truly checked out of this world. Which made it easier for Prompto to leave their side to continue on with Noctis. Every time they were in Lestallum though, they’d make it a point to visit them. They were alive. And someday might wake up. That was enough for Prompto.

Bonus:

Their eyes would flutter open, and from their throat, a raspy voice would ask for Prompto. Luckily for them a nurse would be in their room and hurry and call their boyfriend for them. Hearing their voice would cause him to cry. And he’d FORCE everyone to return to Lestallum immediately. Because they’d woken up. And upon arriving he’d dive onto the bed with them and refuse to leave for a few days.

“You scared me, you scared me, I love you.” He’d whisper over and over to them, and they’d just hold onto him in response.

Gladiolus:

Gladio would hold onto hope that they made it out. Even when the king is confirmed dead and they see the burning city with their own eyes, he hopes. Because it’s all he has for now. Iris had told him that she had gotten out of the city largely because of his S/O. They stayed behind to hold back the enemy while her, Talcott, and Jeremy escaped. They wouldn’t have made it out with out their sacrifice.

Don’t call it a sacrifice, they could still yet live.

They had been so close to safety, and yet chose to protect his family instead. Damn their bleeding heart to Ifrit’s flames and back. He loved and hated them for their choice. They knew that his family meant the world to him, but didn’t they realize they meant just as much?

But after a few hours, knowing his father had died doing his duty put things into perspective. People died, and that was that. He’d kill his hope with his own hands and close his eyes. He moved on. With pain and a heaviness in his chest, he moved on. He would whisper prayers to the city, and say goodbye to all he knew. He would then turn his back on them, striding to Noctis’ side to fulfill his destiny. As his father did.

Weeks would pass and the thought of them would still sting. But only barely. His grief is quiet, but he manages to keep going, keep smiling, and eventually he does find himself enjoying life again. He really does manage to move on after a month. But then…His phone rings with an unknown number.

“Did you miss me?” they’d ask, sounding breathless and almost manic.

He’d absolutely demand to know where they’re at and want to see them.

“Another time. Just know I love you-” they’d get cut off and he’d realize, holy shit they’re still in the city and fighting.

He’d be proud of them. Even though they’d hung up, he’d ask that they’d raise hell on his behalf. That would be when Iris would call days later. She let him know that they’re alive, but being escorted out of the city by hunters. They were hurt in their last fight, badly so. But Iris has arranged for them to recover under her care. He’d thank his baby sister for that and ask to make a detour in Lestallum.

Of course, since they’re hurt they’re expected not to move around to much.

As if they cared.

Upon seeing him they’d literally fling themself out the second story window of the hotel and he’d be forced to catch them. They’d wince at the contact, but hang onto him all the same. He’d have to carry them back up to their room, and make them promise not to jump out of the window again. They would, and then they’d describe what happened.

The city, for the most part, is safe. The people there have started resuming their lives, going to work and what not. But others…others were prepared to fight and rage against the imperials until death. They were one of them. They weren’t letting anyone leave the city, even if you were just visiting, which made their fighting dangerous. But they had learned to pass the word on by word of mouth where civilians should stay away from.

In one of the fights, their back had been lit on fire, and they’d have burn scars for the rest of their life. “But I think it just makes me look badass.” They’d joke. But Gladio would notice the slight tremor in their hands. Coming so close to dying had scared them. And he’d wordlessly pull them into a hug and they’d relax. He could see through them and that’s why they loved him.

“I’m useless like this. And you have a duty to do. Gladio, just promise me you’ll come back alive.”

He’d promise, though he wouldn’t know if he’d be able to keep it or not.

Ignis:

He’d be so careful to betray nothing of his fears to the others. Especially not Noctis. Losing the one he left behind was nothing compared to losing everything the prince did. But it’d still hurt him. When he had woken up and first saw the news, he had immediately called them. And they had answered.

“Now’s not a good time Ig. Please….You have to know I love you.”

But then there was a commotion in the background, people clamoring and sounding afraid. He ask what was going on and they’d just say goodbye. He’d do a little more research, and find out anyone in the city was had served the king was a target. As a retainer for the royal family, hat included them.

He’d worry and try calling them again later, but there’d be no response this time. He’d go about his day after that, consoling Noctis and the others, and trying to think rationally. Seeing the city first hand was hard, but he’d still hold it together.

It would be that night that it’d hit him. He might never see never see them again he’d realize. And while putting things away, he’d shed a tear or two. But that’s all he’d allow himself. And nothing would change in his relations with the others.

But then, oddly enough, he’d get a phone call from Iris. He’d ask if she meant to speak to Gladio, but she’d respond no. She’s volunteering at a local hospital in Lestallum and was sorting through some of the belongings of the residents and recognized the name of one of them. And found a note in their belonging adressed to them.

“I think it was to be sent to you if they died.”

He’d make an excuse to go to Lesallum and see for himself, hope coursing through his veins. He’d request that Iris keep this to herself, and she would. And upon arriving he’d have no trouble in locating them. They’d be asleep, recovering from blood loss and some interior damage from a high impact collision. But when he’d take their hand, they’d wake up, and smile the brightest smile he’d ever seen on them.

They’d talk softly and he’d listen. They apologize for worrying him, but he wouldn’t allow them to finish. “You’re safe, and alive. That’s all I ask.”

They’d still have to stay in the hospital till they recovered, but after that they’d join Iris, Jeremy, and Talcott at the hotel, and stay with them until they could go home. It would be indefinite when they’d get to return, but they wouldn’t mind. And Iris would sort of adopt them as another sibling. It wouldn’t be until later they say just what happened.

They’d been afraid when the imperials caught up to them, and brought their ship down in flames. They were one of the only survivors to escape the wreckage. The only reason they survived was that they had been found by hunters and taken to help right away.

He’d be worried about how close they’d come to death, but all in all just thankful to the six they lived.

Hello! Can I get a match up, please? Female, 5’3, lean, ginger hair and grayish green eyes. Not very sociable, but I highly appreciate friendship. Have interest in painting. Fond of piano. Like to read a myths, legends, detectives, psychological stories. The more strange, angsty and mystique they are the better. A big fan of jigsaw puzzles. Can spend all day with them. Afraid of loud sounds. Pretty stubborn when it comes to the things that I want. I hope my request didn’t bother you to much))

I match you with Gladiolus!

A friendship first is something that would be appreciated with him I think. The fact you read would also make you a good match. (Two person book club? I think so!) And though he’s more physically active, I think he’d enjoy sitting down and putting together a puzzle with you every once in a while. The loud sounds might be a bit of an issue, considering he’s sort of a loud guy occasionally. But nothing insurmountable.

The stubbornness would be as valued as it is vexing considering you’re both set in your ways. But it is a good thing. Anyone with a quieter personality would probably find themselves resenting his own stubbornness. Although, if he ever felt like you both are butting heads too much, he’d probably pick you up and refuse to let you down as a joke to diffuse the situation.
