This is based on @kaciart‘s little red riding prompto pic, i only have like four parts, i can write more if requested, but for now I’m going to work on some other stuff.(it switches back and forth between prom and the other bros btw) enjoy 🙂

           After getting hurt one too many times, the Bros leave Prompto alone in a hotel, his gun out of the Armiger, a dagger on his bag and his stuff neatly packed into it. Lonely, injured and cold, Prom decides that it’s really not worth getting out of bed. So he stays in the hotel for quite a long time, only eating enough to make his stomach stop growling. One morning, there’s scratching at the door. He opens it. It’s Pryna! Pryna’s presence makes Prom try to get out of the hotel. He begins hunting for gil, considering that the last of it went to the hotel. He never gives his name to anyone hiring him, if they know his name, he asks for them to never mention him. He doesn’t want to be found, he wants to remain hidden from the ones who abandoned him. He makes his way to Galdin Quay. He gets gem hunts from Dino, learns how to catch fish from Navyth and learns how to cook them from Concturna. After a few weeks, he says farewell and leaves Galdin Quay. The pair scour the region, doing whatever they can get hired for anonymously. He starts to hear about himself, people are calling him Red Riding Hood, he likes this nickname. He starts calling himself Red whenever someone asks his name.

            Noctis gets more and more sad as more days pass, it makes long drives terribly uncomfortable, they are mostly silent, besides the occasional cough. Sometimes they play music on the radio, but Prom’s favorite songs come up and immediately, on the first note, the radio is turned off. Life begins to get more tense, Gladio has bouts of anger. Ignis seems to doze off to his own world more often than not. Noctis can’t even look at his phone without tears. Eventually, they get used to it, the long silence in a hotel, the loneliness together, they start talking like normal again, at least, somewhat normal. Their funds dwindle and they need to get money for procurements for the next hunt. They’ve been getting hurt more often due to the hole in their defenses without the gunner. They pull up to a new outpost, they ask for hunts to join. The man working the Crow’s Nest says that all the hunts are taken right now by a guy known as Red. Disappointed and with no cash they head into the next outpost, everything is taken, except the Hunter Level 7 job… they can’t really take that… Who’s taking all the jobs? Surely Red and his group are very strong…
