Personality wise, I think you two would mesh very well. Though his main focus is Noctis, he cares for his friends just as deeply. And I think with him initiating the conversations with you, and setting the tone out right, you two would have long talks and maybe even discussions about both your hobbies and duties. You’re an idealist and a thinker. Something that has great value to Ignis. He also has to juggle between logic and ideals, and having another person beside him who thinks like he does would be a great help. Not to mention your independent streak fits in with his perfectly. I don’t think he’d admit it, but underneath all that bravado is a another shy individual. He’s just better at hiding it. Aranea is a tough person to get to know. She seems like the kind of girl that will hold someone at arms length away and try and keep it that way. But your personality rings as sweet. I can picture you with Prompto simply because of your Myer-Briggs results. The Protector. Gentle, caring, deep. Caring is definitely a plus with him, considering he so set on proving that he has some value to the group as a whole, he often forgets to watch his own back since he’s watching everyone else’s. Which is where you’d come in. As someone who has the title of a protector I think he’d appreciate you watching out for him, even if he worries excessively about it as well.

Plus, I honestly think the both of you would be adorable together, due to how careful you’d be around each other at first. You’re both awkward around strangers, but creative individuals. Personalty wise, I think you’d both get along. Gladiolus seems like someone willing just to wait for someone. Be it after a panic attack, or waiting for someone to come back from a depressive episode, he wouldn’t turn away. He’d wait for someone he’s interested into to give him a signal that they might be too. He wouldn’t just take. He’d make sure they were in the right place emotionally as well. He’d take pride in earning your trust and once he’d have it, he’d ensure that he’d never lose it.

He also seems like the kind of person who’s steady presence would be calming and he’d know it. He’d strive to be there for someone in situations that make them uncomfortable, be it just standing at their side, or even giving them that push they need to get through it. Also, I can picture someone with your personality being his own quiet steady presence. A grounding and guiding force for him.

Here’s why!

You’re both observational, and I can picture this working in a relationship between the both of you. Ignis seems like the kind of guy who will store away anything bothering him, with very few visual cues that something is. But since you are observational, you’d be able to pick up on it and probably comfort him with small gestures. Maybe like bringing him an ebony without asking, starting to help prep dinner with him if he seems like he needs company, maybe even give him a hug for ‘no reason’ at all.

I think he’d appreciate someone who would fit perfectly in his arms, be it with cuddling or just holding someone. Since you’re on the shorter side of things, I can picture him resting his head on yours when hugging you.
